Turbulence home page

Turbulence is a general BEEP server built on top of Vortex Library, that provides many site administration features.

Turbulence is extensible through modules and allows to implement server side profiles that are used and combined later with other profiles through run time configuration.

Turbulence is written to make it easy to develop and deploy BEEP profiles, allowing developers to provide a convenient configuration interface to site administrators and end users.

Commercially supported, Turbulence is provided as an Open Source application released under the LGPL 2.1 (see licensing section), allowing to develop commercial and open source products.

Turbulence it is developed and maintained by ASPL, and released under the terms of the LGPL 2.1.

About Aspl

Aspl (Advanced Software Production Line) is a Spanish company that provides support and services to introduce open source products into organizations, especially GNU/Linux.

Turbulence BEEP application server 0.4.1 'Future proof' release is available.

This new stable release includes many interesting features: mod-python, child process, chroot and other security settings.

This release fixes many bugs, improves internal regression tests and adds lot of documentation (administration and developer manual).

Turbulence BEEP application server 0.3.2 'vicarious' release is available.

This new stable release completes a general update to make Turbulence to work with the next stable Vortex Library 1.1 series. It also includes a general work to make Turbulence to properly run on Windows.
