Valvulad: a high performance policy daemon for Postfix
Valvula server is an Open Source, high performance Postfix policy daemon written in ANSI C that provides very useful features that makes it suitable for commercial enviroments (massive mail servers, hosting providers and corporate mail servers). Some of its features are:
- Component separation that provides more flexibility to implement several contexts or to embeed the product into another project.
- Highly threaded design with port separation which allows providing Valvula services with different modules at different ports running everything within a single daemon
- Automatic postfix database detection (so your current Postfix configuration will be parsed by Valvula so it can also know what domains and accounts are local to make better decisions).
- Robust and well tested implementation checked by a strong regression test to ensure that the library and core server keep on working as new features are added across releases.
- See complete Valvula server feature lists.
Valvula has been developed by Advanced Software Production Line, S.L. (ASPL) (http://www.aspl.es). It is licensed under the GPL 2.0.
